Job summary

Child Care Associates is seeking a dedicated professional to support our facilities in achieving 4-Star or National Accreditation status. The role involves developing instructional materials and delivering trainings, plus recruiting and training Entry-Level staff to meet TRS accreditation requirements.

Community involvement and timely reporting are part of the responsibilities. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in an early childhood setting, knowledge of best practices, strong communication

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, Child Development, Special Education, or related field (or progress toward).
  • Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Child Psychology, Educational Psychology, Elementary Education, or Family Consumer Science.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an early childhood setting.
  • Knowledge of best practices and current research in early childhood education.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Reliable, insured vehicle for transportation.
  • Must pass pre-employment and/or periodic background check and health screenings.

  • Commitment to Growth — Must be eager to expand skills and progressively grow into a Quality Mentor position through completion of a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, Child Development, Special Education, Child Psychology, Educational Psychology, Elementary Education, or Family Consumer Science.
  • Associate’s degree in one of the following: Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Child Psychology, Educational Psychology, Elementary Education, or Family Consumer Science.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an early childhood setting.
  • Knowledge of best practices and current research in early childhood education.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to clearly convey ideas and concepts.
  • Computer proficiency required.
  • Reliable, insured vehicle for transportation.
  • Must pass pre-employment and/or periodic physical exam, TB skin test, and background check (renewed every 24 months).
Physical Requirements
  • Repetitive use of hands; reaching and turning;
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds; light lifting of supplies and materials;
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to twist, turn, kneel, bend and stoop.
