Job summary

Child Care Associates is seeking a TRS Mentor to provide on-site coaching to child care providers pursuing and maintaining Texas Rising Star (TRS) certification. This role focuses on guiding facilities toward 4 Star or National Accreditation through regular visits and ongoing professional development.

You will develop instructional materials, conduct adult trainings, and report weekly progress. Requires a Bachelor’s degree with ECE coursework, training experience, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college with at least 18 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, or related fields.
• Proven ability to prepare and conduct training/workshops for adults.
• Experience communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site mentoring to TRS providers to attain and maintain TRS certification.
• Support facilities toward 4 Star or National Accreditation through ongoing professional development.
• Maintain a bi-monthly visit schedule for TRS sites and submit weekly reports.
• Develop instructional materials and deliver monthly trainings for TRS providers.
