Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Quality Manager to lead plant QA improvements, manage vendor quality programs, and reduce customer concerns through root cause analysis. You will work closely with customers and internal technical sales to align on expectations and steer future projects as part of the plant leadership team.

You will drive compliance and certification programs, guide QA staff, and ensure adherence to ANSI/ASQC Q9001-2008 and ISO 9001 standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Engineering, Quality or Management or equivalent.
• 7+ years supervising/managing employees in a manufacturing plant.
• 7+ years QA/QC in plastics or packaging.
• Extensive knowledge of auditing, SOPs, GMPs, FDA, and quality systems.
• Strong leadership with demonstrated success managing multiple projects.
• Extensive experience with root cause corrective action.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detailed understanding of plant operations to interact with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant quality improvement initiatives and programs.
• Manage vendor quality programs and supplier performance.
• Reduce customer concerns through root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with customers and internal technical sales to align on expectations.
