Job summary

Actalent in Bedford, PA seeks a Quality Manager to lead the quality management system across assigned locations, ensuring compliance with standards and driving continuous improvement in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

You will build and mentor a high-performing team, coordinate audits, apply root cause analysis, and partner with manufacturing, engineering, and operations to integrate quality into daily work and new initiatives. This onsite role is based in Bedford, PA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, quality, or a related field.
• ASQ certification preferred.
• Seven+ years in quality or a closely related field.
• Experience in a machine shop or similar manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the quality management system for assigned locations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing quality team.
• Design, implement, and lead continuous improvement programs.
• Plan, coordinate, and support internal and external quality audits.
• Use root cause analysis to investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, operations and others to integrate quality standards.
• Establish, monitor, and report on quality metrics and KPIs.
• Make timely decisions balancing customer requirements and business objectives.
• Build relationships with customers and suppliers to align on quality expectations.
• Promote continuous improvement across the organization.
