Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is hiring a Quality Manager to manage and implement AP’s Quality processes on projects. The initial project focuses on a Data Center near the Alexandria, LA area.

You will report project progress to the Region’s Senior Quality Manager and oversee QA/QC activities, coordinating with client, agencies, subcontractors and internal staff. You will train staff, use Procore, and ensure contract document compliance while traveling to sites and maintaining high safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or related field.
• 6+ years of quality control/assurance experience on varied projects.
• CQM-C certification preferred; building envelope commissioning training preferred.
• Knowledge of industry standards: NIBS Guideline 3-2013, ASTM E2813-12, ASHRAE 0-2013.
• Willingness to travel and work in extreme climates.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage quality activities to contract requirements on multiple projects.
• Interact with client/owner, agencies, subcontractors and staff on quality matters.
• Review plans, specifications and perform inspections and testing for quality compliance.
• Provide coaching, training, and mentoring on quality processes; use Procore.
• Oversee development and implementation of project quality plans.
