Job summary

Printpack in Jackson, TN is seeking a Quality Manager to own the facility's quality function—from lab operations and customer relationships to ISO management systems and CI. This high-impact role reports to the Plant Leadership Team and protects customers while driving performance.

Qualifications

• Experience with ISO 9001 system administration.
• Food Safety systems experience (ISO 22000, SQF, or equivalent).
• Working knowledge of statistical quality control and lean manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead ISO 9001 & ISO 22000 Quality Management Systems.
• Oversee QC Lab operations, calibration programs, and test method development.
• Drive customer complaint resolution, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Manage supplier quality issues and incoming material performance.
• Champion continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives across the plant.
• Support new product commercialization by establishing quality standards from development through launch.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing quality team.
• Serve as the plant's primary quality contact for customers, auditors, and suppliers.

As a Quality Manager at Printpack, you'll serve on the Plant Leadership Team and own the quality function at the facility level -from lab operations and customer relationships to ISO management systems and continuous improvement. What You'll Do

• Lead and continuously improve ISO 9001 & ISO 22000 Quality Management Systems
• Oversee QC Lab operations, calibration programs, and test method development
• Drive customer complaint resolution, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions
• Manage supplier quality issues and incoming material performance
• Champion continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives across the plant

What You Bring

• Quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated experience with ISO 9001 system administration
• Experience with Food Safety systems (ISO 22000, SQF, or equivalent)
• Working knowledge of statistical quality control and lean manufacturing principles

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Standard Monday-Friday schedule with flexibility for plant operations, audits, and customer needs
• Ability to stand, walk, and navigate manufacturing areas; lift up to 50 lbs occasionally; PPE required in designated areas (hearing protection, safety glasses, steel-toe shoes)
• Travel: Up to 25% (customer visits, supplier visits, audits, cross-site activities)
