Printpack, a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging, is seeking a Quality Manager for our Rhinelander location. You will lead quality initiatives, oversee a high-performing team, and ensure products meet customer standards across development to launch.

Key responsibilities include ISO 9001 & 22000 management, QC lab oversight, root cause analysis, and supplier quality management. Travel and audits may be required. Competitive benefits included.

Qualifications

• Experience administering ISO 9001 quality systems and ISO 22000/food safety programs.
• Experience with ISO 9001 system administration.
• Knowledge of food safety systems (ISO 22000, SQF, or equivalent).
• Strong foundation in statistical quality control and lean manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead ISO 9001 & ISO 22000 quality management system initiatives and improvements.
• Oversee QC Lab operations, calibration programs, and method development.
• Drive root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions, and customer complaint resolution.
• Manage supplier quality issues and incoming material performance.
• Champion continuous improvement and lean tools to reduce variability and improve performance.
• Support new product commercialization by defining quality standards from development to launch.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing quality team.
• Serve as primary quality contact for customers, auditors, and suppliers.

About the Role

Printpack, a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging, is looking for a Quality Manager to join our team at our Rhinelander location. In this role, you'll lead quality initiatives, support a great team, and help ensure the products we produce meet the highest standards for customers you already know and trust.

What You'll Do

• Lead and continuously improve ISO 9001 & ISO 22000 Quality Management Systems
• Oversee QC Lab operations, calibration programs, and test method development
• Drive customer complaint resolution, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions
• Manage supplier quality issues and incoming material performance
• Champion continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives across the plant
• Support new product commercialization by establishing quality standards from development through launch
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing quality team
• Serve as the plant's primary quality contact for customers, auditors, and suppliers

What You Bring

• Quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated experience with ISO 9001 system administration
• Experience with Food Safety systems (ISO 22000, SQF, or equivalent)
• Working knowledge of statistical quality control and lean manufacturing principles

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Standard Monday–Friday schedule with flexibility for plant operations, audits, and customer needs Ability to stand, walk, and navigate manufacturing areas; lift up to 50 lbs occasionally; PPE required in designated areas (hearing protection, safety glasses, steel-toe shoes) Travel: Up to 25% (customer visits, supplier visits, audits, cross-site activities)
