Job summary

Randstad USA seeks a Quality Manager in Huntsville, AL to uphold ISO 13485/FDA-QSR and SAE AS9100 standards. You will lead audits, implement QMS, and drive continuous improvement across product lines.

The role requires AS9100, 5+ years in quality leadership, and experience with measurement tools. Education is High School, with 7 AM–4:30 PM shifts and competitive salary.

Qualifications

• AS9100 certification required with ≥5 years of experience
• Experience with ISO 13485/FDA-QSR and SAE AS9100
• First Article Inspections with ≥5 years of experience
• Strong numerical skills; proficient in US and metric units
• Ability to lead internal audits and coordinate supplier audits

Responsibilities

• Implement, establish, and maintain ISO 13485/FDA-QSR and SAE AS9100 QMS
• Perform First Article Inspections and drive process improvements
• Handle measurements in US and metric units with accuracy
• Utilize tools like calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.
• Convert metric to US units and vice versa
• Lead top management review meetings
• Serve as corporate quality contact for customers and vendors
• Develop training to ensure OSHA compliance
• Coordinate internal audits and supplier audits
• Ensure waste disposal complies with laws

Responsibilities

• Implement, Establish, and Maintain certification of company's ISO 13485/FDA-QSR and SAE AS9100 quality management system
• Perform First Article Inspections and promote continuous improvement of processes
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, whole numbers, fractions, and decimals in US and Metric System
• Must have experience using standard measuring and testing devices such as but not limited to: calipers, micrometer, height gauge, pin gauge, radius gauge, optical comparator, depth micrometer, etc.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, whole numbers, fractions and decimals in English and Metric System.
• Ability to convert metric units to English units and vice versa.
• Facilitate top management review meetings
• Company's corporate quality contact for customers, vendors, and subcontractors
• Develop training program for all employees to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and train personnel as needed
• Coordinate and assist with all internal audits
• Coordinate and perform all audits of suppliers/vendors/subcontractors
• Ensure all waste is disposed of in accordance with local, state, and federal
