Job summary

Thyssenkrupp in the Northwest is seeking a Quality & Lean Leader to direct and supervise the development of a total quality environment across copper and brass operations. You will drive Lean initiatives, ensure ISO/QS 9000 compliance, and lead audits and continuous improvement.

The role requires travel about 50%, hands-on leadership on the warehouse floor, and collaboration with site leadership to achieve quality goals and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of Quality Assurance/Control experience.
• Experience with TQM, ISO/QS 9000, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Demonstrated strong safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional Quality Assurance strategy and execution across multiple sites
• Drive Lean Management initiatives aligned with company objectives
• Foster a strong quality-first culture in partnership with site leadership
• Oversee compliance with ISO, AS, or TS standards, where applicable
• Participate in the Corporate Quality Improvement Board (CQIB)
• Report on the effectiveness of the regional Quality Assurance system
• Lead CPAR processes and audits
• Conduct quarterly site visits for training, coaching, and alignment
• Coordinate internal and external Quality System audits
• Provide technical support to internal teams and external partners
• Partner with leadership to establish quality goals and performance metrics
• Support training and development in Quality, Lean, and Safety
• Lead or support Lean and Quality team members, including supervisory responsibilities as needed
