Job summary

Thyssenkrupp Materials Services in the United States seeks a senior operations leader to oversee warehouse floor activities, driving safe, efficient, and standardized processes. You will implement plans in coordination with branch and corporate management to improve reliability, quality, and customer satisfaction.

This role requires extensive travel (up to 90%) and weekend flexibility, with a focus on Lean initiatives, policy adherence, and staff development to meet company goals and safety

Qualifications

• 4 year degree (Business or Engineering) or equivalent experience.
• Experience/training in labor relations, safety programs, ISO standards, Lean practices and sales functions.
• Leadership skills training, team building, motivation, strategic planning, finance and time management.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to ensure efficient, safe, and uniform warehouse operations.
• Enforce plans with branch and corporate management to improve reliability and quality of services.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and standards.
• Maintain 6S/Lean initiatives across operations and safety programs.
• Hire, train, motivate, and discipline warehouse staff as needed.
• Work with Plant Managers to set goals and assess competency while directing output.
