Job summary

ThyssenKrupp Materials NA, Inc. seeks an experienced operations leader to direct and coordinate plant activities, focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will drive lean improvements, supervise cross-functional teams, and ensure adherence to customer specifications while maintaining robust data reporting. The role requires a strong project management mindset, Six Sigma exposure, and the ability to manage resources on a busy warehouse floor with heavy machinery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of supervisory or management experience.
• 3–5 years of Continuous Improvement experience (Six Sigma a plus).
• 3–5 years’ experience in Quality.
• Strong project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates operations in one or more plant areas to meet safety, quality, delivery, metal utilization, productivity and efficiency goals.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure production conforming to customer specifications.
• Oversee data reporting to ensure repeatable, safe and quality-focused daily activities.
• Support continuous improvement projects to drive lean principles, efficiency, and cost reductions.
• Ensure preventive maintenance program is robust and followed.
• Communicate effectively with Customer Service and other departments.
• Manage resources responsibly and maintain good housekeeping on the plant floor.
