Job summary

Orenco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance leader to direct the day-to-day QA department, partnering with manufacturing to ensure product quality for internal and external customers.

The role focuses on reducing variation and maintaining high outgoing quality levels, while guiding Six Sigma teams to drive permanent root cause corrective actions. The position requires a bachelor’s in engineering, 7+ years in quality with 3+ in leadership, and familiarity with UL 508A and polymer testing.

Qualifications

• Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineer, Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in quality, 3 years minimum in quality management role.
• Knowledgeable of standard UL 508A.
• Knowledgeable of polymer testing.
• Experience with root cause analysis, statical analysis and process improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, measure, and report internal and external product quality manufacturing performance metrics.
• Oversee incoming inspection and testing of materials, components and finished products.
• Validate final inspection checks on completed control panels, High Voltage, functional testing, label verification.
• Lead, investigate and resolve product quality issues, analyze data, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare for and manage external audits.
