Job summary

IKO Industries Ltd. seeks a Quality Assurance lead to develop and manage QA metrics, identify production quality issues, and partner with process engineers to reduce variation and waste.

The role requires hands-on QA testing, data-driven decision making, and strong communication with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has post-secondary technical education (preferably chemical or mechanical engineering) and 5+ years in industrial QA, with Six Sigma/Lean experience and proficiency in MS

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in a technical field; chemical or mechanical engineering preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in an industrial process manufacturing environment in QA.
• Experience with Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing preferred.
• Must demonstrate integrity, accountability and teamwork.
• Strong data-driven approach and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage QA metrics to measure improvements and performance.
• Identify and resolve production quality deficiencies with root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Process Engineer to reduce variation and waste.
• Monitor impact of new processes and equipment on quality.
• Identify QA training needs and implement them.
• Oversee QA testing and vendor quality compliance.
• Maintain QA documentation and KPI reporting.
• Lead corrective actions with process and operations teams.
• Represent QA in customer visits and management reviews.
