Job summary

Orenco Systems is seeking a Continual Improvement Manager to lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives across Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Engineering. You will identify opportunities, build business cases, and drive productivity and quality gains by coaching teams and applying structured problem-solving methods.

The role requires five+ years of improvement leadership, strong financial acumen, and the ability to manage a portfolio of projects while collaborating with multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience leading continuous improvement, operational excellence, Lean/Six Sigma, productivity, quality, manufacturing, supply chain, or operations improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to apply Lean/Six Sigma methodology and improvement tools in business or operations environments.
• Experience managing a portfolio of productivity, quality, cost reduction, or process improvement projects.
• Strong financial acumen with the ability to develop business cases and partner with Finance to validate savings, cost avoidance, and productivity impacts.

Responsibilities

• Develops annual and multi-year improvement plans aligned with priorities and targets.
• Leads cross-functional Lean/Six Sigma projects (DMAIC, Kaizen) and ensures clear business cases and measurable targets.
• Partners with Finance to validate financial benefits and sustainment of improvements.
• Improves standard work, visual management, and daily management systems for sustained gains.
• Mentors employees and leaders in problem solving, root cause analysis, and sustainment practices.
• Reports portfolio health and validated savings through leadership updates.
