Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a qualified professional to join the Project Management Team to oversee quality performance across projects, ensuring adherence to procedures, managing nonconformances, and coordinating corrective actions. The role acts as the liaison to customers, vendors, and subcontractors on quality matters.

You will lead quality assurance and control activities, including audits, and support a broad set of projects nationwide with willingness to travel and relocate as needed.

Qualifications

• Engineering or science degree with at least 4 years of experience in construction.
• Must be legally authorized to work without sponsorship.
• Must be able to clearly communicate the status of quality on a project.
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills; able to convey complex information to field personnel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint; adaptable to other software.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain effective communications with district management, project management teams and engineers/clients.
• Examine field conditions, identify problems and cost-saving measures; take corrective action.
• Identify potential safety hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain knowledge of the Quality Management System and promote standardization.
• Manage Welding Procedure Specification logs for assigned districts.
• Assist in conducting project quality audits and reports.
