Job summary

Entegris, Inc. seeks a driven Quality Lab Supervisor for the CMP Pads Manufacturing team at the Aurora facility.

You will lead Quality Lab Technicians, performing visual inspection and testing for manufacturing, product development, engineering and customer failures while driving safety, quality and continuous improvement on the 2:00pm–10:00pm shift. This onsite role emphasizes Lean/Six Sigma, coaching, and clear cross-functional communication with engineering and management to align priorities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field; combination of education and manufacturing quality lab experience acceptable
• Typically 5+ years in quality lab or manufacturing with leadership experience
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and quality principles; able to gain competency in lab areas
• Excellent organizational, planning and communication skills
• Hands-on knowledge of quality lab operations, test equipment, calibration, maintenance, and data integrity
• Onsite presence in a manufacturing environment with PPE usage

Responsibilities

• Lead Quality Lab Technicians and perform visual inspection and testing for manufacturing, product development and customer failure analysis
• Model safe work practices and ensure cleanliness, housekeeping and EHS procedures are followed
• Provide clear communication of goals and priorities; collaborate with engineers and management
• Train, coach and develop staff; address performance issues with documentation and reviews
• Manage test results, COAs, and LIMS records; ensure accuracy and traceability
• Identify and escalate product, instrument, method, and quality deviations; document and contain nonconformances
• Support corrective actions and investigations including containment and root-cause analysis
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma concepts to improve planning, schedule attainment and efficiency
• Prepare for internal, customer and external audits; ensure actions are completed
