Job summary

Entegris is seeking a Quality Lab Supervisor to lead a team of technicians on the 2:00pm–10:00pm shift at the Aurora, Illinois facility. You will ensure safe, compliant, and timely lab execution while driving quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include training staff, managing performance, ensuring accurate test data and records, and supporting audits. A strong focus on safety and collaboration with engineering and management is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent manufacturing quality lab experience
• Typically 5+ years in quality lab or manufacturing with leadership experience
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and quality principles and data integrity practices
• Experience with quality laboratory operations, test equipment, calibration, preventive maintenance

Responsibilities

• Model safe work practices and monitor quality areas to ensure cleanliness and EHS compliance
• Provide clear communication of goals, priorities, and daily priorities; collaborate with management to align and elevate risks
• Train, coach, and develop laboratory technicians; manage performance reviews and corrective actions
• Direct shift operations and address safety incidents, quality issues, and personnel matters
• Ensure test results, Certificates of Analysis, and LIMS records are accurate and traceable
• Lead corrective actions and nonconformance investigations with containment and root cause analysis
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma, Kanban, 6S, PDCA, and visual management for improved operations
• Prepare the lab for internal, customer, and external audits and ensure actions are completed
• Identify opportunities for safety, cost reduction, waste elimination, and improved material flow
