Job summary

We are seeking a Quality Lab Associate at Baxter in Marion, NC. You will conduct qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses on raw materials and components following SOPs and test methods, while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will work with analysts to maintain data integrity in LIMS, support instrument upkeep, and assist in timely completion of testing and special projects. Competitive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Natural Sciences: Chemistry preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of Chemistry Laboratory experience or Master’s with relevant lab experience.
• Digital literacy with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of laboratory instrumentation and GDPs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze organic or inorganic compounds using chromatography, spectroscopy, or spectrophotometry.
• Maintain lab instruments and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Prepare test solutions, standards or reagents for testing.
• Follow lab safety procedures and SOPs for compliance.
• Monitor procedures to ensure conformance to standards.
• Maintain data in the LIMS system and ensure data integrity.
