Baxter is seeking a Quality Lab Associate to conduct chemical analyses, maintain instruments, and ensure GMP-compliant data handling in a fast-paced environment. You will prepare reagents, follow SOPs, and contribute to product quality across projects.

You will work under minimal supervision, use LIMS/TrackWise, and support a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the Quality organization at Baxter US facilities.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Natural Sciences: Chemistry preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Chemistry Laboratory or Master’s in Natural Sciences with relevant lab experience.
• Digital literacy with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel).
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of laboratory instrumentation.
• Good documentation skills and GDP knowledge.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Familiarity with LIMS (or TrackWise) systems.
• Proficient with at least three lab techniques (HPLC, GC, AA, FTIR, UV-Vis).

Responsabilités

• Analyze organic or inorganic compounds to determine properties using chromatography, spectroscopy, or spectrophotometry.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments to ensure proper operation.
• Prepare test solutions, standards, and reagents for lab testing.
• Follow SOPs and safety procedures to ensure compliance and quality.
• Monitor procedures in technical environments to ensure standards are met.
• Purchase laboratory supplies and manage inventory.
• Operate lab equipment such as pipettes, balances, hot plates, etc.
• Review samples, log data, and enter results into LIMS.
• Maintain housekeeping and a clean, safe work environment per 6S principles.
• Conduct routine laboratory and safety audits.
• Collect and record data using lab instrumentation and computer systems.
• Perform advanced chemical assays requiring precise analytical skills.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with SOPs, FDA, GLP, and cGMP.
• Investigate deviations and write exception documents.
• Work under minimum supervision.
