Job summary

Baxter is seeking a Quality Lab Associate in the United States. You will conduct qualitative and quantitative chemical analysis on raw materials and components, following SOPs and test methods to ensure accuracy and compliance.

You will work under minimal supervision, maintain instruments, and contribute to safe, quality-focused operations in a fast-paced environment. Eligibility to work in the U.S. is required.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Natural Sciences: Chemistry preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in a Chemistry Laboratory or a Master's with related lab exp.
• Microsoft Word/Excel proficiency.
• Attention to detail and strong organization.
• Basic lab instrumentation knowledge.
• GDPs knowledge (Good Documentation Practices).
• Experience with LIMS and TrackWise.
• Proficiency in HPLC, GC, AA, FTIR, UV-Vis (three+).

Responsibilities

• Analyze organic/inorganic compounds to determine properties using chromatography or spectroscopy.
• Maintain lab instruments and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Prepare test solutions, reagents, and standards for tests.
• Follow SOPs and safety procedures to ensure compliance.
• Monitor procedures to conform to standards.
• Purchase laboratory supplies as needed.
• Operate lab equipment (pipettes, balances, etc.).
• Enter data into LIMS and review samples/logs.
• Maintain housekeeping and 6S in the lab.
• Perform routine safety and quality audits.
• Use advanced instruments to collect and record data.
• Perform specialized chemical assays with precision.
• Complete testing including protocol projects in a timely manner.
• Maintain data integrity per FDA, GLP, QSR, cGMP.
