The Software Platform Foundations team builds foundational systems to empower engineering with reliable automated processes across the software lifecycle. The Software Engineer, Quality Integration role focuses on delivering high-quality, trustworthy products by automating tests, building robust release environments, and integrating testing into CI/CD

Qualifications

• 3+ years building automated verification suites at scale.
• Experience with CI/CD, SRE principles, automation scripting, and SDLC.
• Hands-on HITL/SITL automation in production release processes.
• Experience with automated regression, unit, and integration testing.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and system development.
• Experience with containerization workflows and Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Author and execute test plans for Lattice releases, manual or automated.
• Extend automated systems for development, verification, and release.
• Develop and maintain reference environments for Lattice workflows.
• Build and maintain test environments (Cloud, Robot, NixOS VM).
• Implement interfaces and hooks for end-to-end testing across systems.
• Integrate regression and performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Advance AI-enabled automation for failure triage and test generation.
• Onboard SWP services onto the ICR pipeline and shepherd green runs.
• Raise the bar on engineering hygiene through reviews and tests.
