Job summary

RAM Windows & Doors in Houston, TX is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to ensure incoming materials, work-in-process and finished door and window units meet quality standards and customer specifications.

This hands-on, floor-based role focuses on preventing defects, requiring measurements with tape measures, calipers and gauges, documenting results, and promptly communicating issues to supervisors to uphold product quality.

Qualifications

• Reading engineering drawings and production specifications.
• Accurate use of tape measures and basic inspection tools.
• Understanding tolerances and quality requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and objective communication of problems.
• Ability to work independently and with production staff.

Responsibilities

• Incoming and in-process inspection of materials and components.
• Final inspection of windows and doors for dimensions and finish.
• Documenting inspection results and non-conformances.
• Identify containment actions and communicate to supervision.
• Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
