Job summary

RAM Windows & Doors is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to design and improve tooling, fixtures and workstations on the production floor in Houston. You will also support CNC programming, process improvements, and data integration into the ERP system.

The role emphasizes practical on-site work, problem solving, and collaboration with Production, Maintenance, Quality and Planning to drive throughput and standard work across multiple manufacturing lines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test and improve jigs, fixtures and workstation layouts.
• Develop and revise fixture drawings using CAD tools.
• Work with operators to solve manufacturing problems.
• Support CNC programming, setup, and troubleshooting.
• Lead time studies and process improvements; implement standard work.
• Transition production data into ERP and maintain documentation.
