Job summary

Consolidated-Metco is seeking a detail-oriented quality inspector to perform x-ray inspections of parts, dimensional inspections with measuring tools and CMM as needed, and metal analysis using spectrometry.

The role includes daily process audits, maintaining inspection records and setup cards, receiving product into the warehouse, reporting failures to QA leadership, calibrating equipment, conducting dock audits, and upholding the 5S program in the quality department.

Responsibilities

• Perform x-ray inspections of parts.
• Perform dimensional inspections using measuring tools and coordinate measuring machine as needed.
• Perform metal analysis using spectrometer.
• Perform daily audits of processes per procedure. Report findings to QA Manager.
• Maintain inspection records, daily product audit results, setup cards/records to include filing.
• Receive product into warehouse in a timely manner. Inform the Quality Manager or Quality Engineer when product fails inspection.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Perform dock audits as needed every shift.
• Maintain 5S program in all areas assigned to quality department.
