Divergent is seeking a hands-on Inspection & Metrology Supervisor to lead daily inspection and metrology activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will oversee CMMs, portable arms, and laser/structured-light scanning, driving quality, data integrity, and continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to interpret GD&T from complex drawings and translate to inspection strategies.
• 3+ years in aerospace/automotive manufacturing quality and inspection/metrology.
• 2+ years in a supervisory or lead role with coaching responsibilities.
• Strong metrology operations knowledge and programming in PC-DMIS, Calypso, Zeiss Inspect, or Verisurf.
• Proficient in GD&T with ability to interpret complex drawings for inspection.
• Experience with diverse metrology tools including CMMs, portable arms, laser/scanner, and conventional tools.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose inspection/make data-quality decisions.
• Comfortable on the shop floor supporting technicians hands-on.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with ISO/AS or customer-specific quality systems.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Aufgaben

• Supervise daily inspection and metrology operations (CMMs, portable arms, laser/scanner).
• Lead and support a team of inspection/metrology technicians.
• Act as technical point of contact for measurement strategy and CMM execution.
• Ensure repeatable, efficient inspection methods; collaborate with engineering to improve cycles.
• Coordinate workload, staffing, and equipment for production needs.
• Partner with Manufacturing/Quality/Production to resolve issues and RCCAs.
• Drive adherence to quality systems and customer requirements.
• Review inspection results, identify trends, and escalate risks.
• Support deployment of new metrology technologies and fixturing.
• Coach and mentor technicians on GD&T and inspection practices.
• Ensure documentation of inspection activities and nonconformances.
