Job summary

Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions is seeking a Quality Inspector II to support manufacturing through robust inspection, measurement, and documentation. You will read blueprints, inspect parts, and help ensure customer quality expectations are met.

You will operate and calibrate FARO and Micro-Vu equipment, train junior inspectors, and contribute to lean process improvements on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in metal fabrication with QA/QMS and inspection experience.
• Read and interpret drawings and perform dimensional checks.
• Able to present information clearly in small group settings.
• Proficient with basic math and data interpretation.
• Knowledge of MS Office and basic internet tools.

Responsibilities

• Use calipers, micrometers, distance gauges and surface plates for inspection.
• Read and interpret blueprints and dimensional requirements.
• Visually inspect and test in-process and finished products.
• Document results and quarantine non-conforming items.
• Generate non-conforming reports and coordinate root-cause analysis.
• Calibrate and maintain measuring equipment per procedures.
• Support PPAP and 1st article dimensional verification.
• Lead Level I inspectors and assist lean improvements.
