Job summary

The role requires 2–5 years of manufacturing QA experience, strong inspection and drawing-reading skills, and proficiency with inspection tools.

Qualifications

• Strong inspection, analytical, and problem-solving skills – required
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications – required
• Experience using inspection tools (microscopes, multimeters, calipers, gauges) – required
• Quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment (2–5 years) – required
• Experience with ERP or quality management systems – preferred
• IPC certifications (J‑STD‑001, IPC/WHMA‑A‑620) – preferred
• Aerospace or defense inspection experience, including First Article Inspection – a plus
• High school diploma or GED – required; technical or vocational training – preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections using visual, dimensional, and electrical methods
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot inspection and test equipment
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and workmanship standards
• Identify, document, and report nonconforming material
• Record inspection results accurately in ERP and quality systems
• Support nonconformance and corrective action activities
• Verify calibration and proper condition of inspection equipment
• Support final product release, including packaging and documentation checks
• Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide guidance and training to less experienced quality inspectors
