Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus two years of technical schooling related to engineering, science, and/or mathematics.
• Two years of technical schooling may be satisfied through: Associates degree in an engineering or science program; Five college credit technical courses in engineering/science/math; One college writing class can be counted toward the five courses; Quality Inspector Certification (CQI) from ASQ.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on a variety of materials, components, assemblies, and/or systems.
• Document work results and generate inspection reports.
• Types of inspections include visual, workmanship, dimensional, and electrical.
