Job summary

Draper in Cambridge, MA is seeking an Inspector B to perform inspections and audits of purchased parts, materials, equipment and quality control programs. You will interpret drawings, test incoming components, and ensure materials meet standards, working with minimal supervision.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma with technical schooling or an associate degree in a relevant field, plus QA inspection experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus two years of technical schooling related to engineering, science, and/or mathematics.
• Associates degree in an engineering or science program.
• Quality Inspector Certification (CQI) from ASQ.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on materials, components, assemblies, and/or systems.
• Document inspection results and generate inspection reports.
• Interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, specifications, and lists to approve or reject units.
• Comply with safety and security rules and observe housekeeping practices.
