Job summary

Draper in Cambridge, MA is seeking an Inspector B to perform inspections and audits of purchased parts, materials, equipment and quality control programs. Interprets manufacturing drawings, diagrams, specifications and lists to approve or reject units or systems for in-process or final assemblies.

Performs sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials. Ensures raw materials, in-process, and finished products meet company standards.

Qualifications

• Education options include high school diploma with technical schooling or an associate degree in engineering/science.
• CQI certification is an eligible credential for this role.
• Two to four years of QA inspection experience required depending on education.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on materials, components, assemblies, and systems.
• Document results and generate inspection reports.
• Conduct visual, workmanship, dimensional, and electrical inspections.
• Follow safety rules and maintain good housekeeping.
