Job summary

SMF, part of Etnyre International, is hiring a Quality Inspector for 1st and 2nd shifts in Minonk, Illinois. You will support manufacturing by performing receiving checks, inspections, weld certifications, and documentation.

The role emphasizes metrology, gauge repair, calibrations, and station verifications, while maintaining clean work areas. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential to guard quality and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on with manufacturing: support production, troubleshoot parts & fixtures.
• Inspection pro: perform receiving checks, audits, weld certifications, and document results.
• Metrology master: gauge repair, calibrations, and station verifications.
• Keep it clean: maintain organized work areas for smooth operations.
• Quality guardian: inspect rejected/reworked material, track non-conforming parts, and escalate issues.
• Process evaluator: ensure proper gauges at machine stations and recommend improvements.
