Job summary

SMF in Minonk, IL is seeking Production Welders to join our high-precision shop workforce. Perform MIG welding on metal parts, read blueprints, and set up welding equipment to ensure structural integrity.

You will inspect welds for quality and help maintain a safe, efficient work area in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Starting rates vary by experience (A/B/C levels) with shift premium and total rewards including annual bonuses, wage increases, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or metal fabrication (preferred but not required).
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret welding symbols.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long periods.
