Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a Quality Engineer for our Holland, MI plant. The role focuses on analyzing production inputs and outputs to ensure customer quality requirements are met, supporting Safe Launch activities, and delivering PPAP documentation for new programs.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in quality engineering, GD&T expertise, and hands-on experience with APQP/PPAP processes, dimensional data analysis, and problem solving.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher; 5 years related experience.
• Bachelor of Science degree preferred; 10–15 years related experience preferred.
• Advance GD&T training and understanding of APQP/PPAP processes.
• Able to read and interpret dimensional data and make decisions related to part quality.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing analysis of production process inputs/outputs to meet customer quality requirements.
• Lead Safe Launch activities and ensure PPAP documentation readiness.
• Serve as plant quality liaison for customer complaints and deviations.
• Maintain and update Control Plans and FMEA with floor-based feedback.
• Provide training to quality auditors and production leads on inspection methods.
