Job summary

Seacoast Mental Health Center, Inc. in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a QI Specialist for our Certified Community Behavioral Health Center (CCBHC) program. This in‑office role focuses on compliance, policy maintenance, and quality improvement across clinical services.

You will update policies, prepare for audits, identify risks, and support monthly QI committee work, with collaboration across the SMHC team and departments to sustain high standards of care.

Qualifications

• BS/BS or MA/MS preferred in Human Services or related field.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a Community Mental Health Center or healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with SMHC policies and state/federal laws and payer standards.
• Update and maintain the SMHC Clinical Services Policy and Procedure Manual to meet CCBHC standards.
• Ensure readiness for external audits, site reviews, and regulatory oversight related to CCBHC certifications.
• Assist in development and implementation of long-term sustainability strategies for CCBHC initiatives.
• Identify risks, system gaps, and operational barriers; develop corrective action plans for compliance and performance.
• Participate in monthly Quality Improvement Committee meetings and related duties.
• Participate in QI Department activities including compliance, pharmacy, and EHR workgroup.
