Job Overview: This position serves as part of the senior management team with responsibility for compliance with healthcare standards, and quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) activities throughout Montana Mental Health Nursing Care Center (MMHNCC). The Quality Improvement Manager will assume responsibility for the functional areas within Quality Resources and oversee the Quality Department. The functional areas include serving day-to-day as a resource to leadership and staff for areas such as disease specific care, quality measures, national collaboratives, special projects and regulatory issues, and process improvement for MMHNCC along with education.

This position is exposed to unconventional behaviors by residents with mental illness. The ability to engage and work with often volatile individuals and make critical decisions is required.
