Job summary

Hyundai Transys Georgia Seating System is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the plant quality team in a fast-paced Tier 1 automotive environment. You will drive quality performance, ensure compliance with ISO/IATF standards, and serve as the focal point for OEM customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.

The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of quality systems, and hands-on involvement with PPAP/ISIR, PFMEA, GD&T, MSA, and CAPA processes.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in quality engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree in quality engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of quality management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with seating manufacturing and Tier 1 Automotive is a plus.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and driving accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the quality team to drive performance, engagement, and growth.
• Promote a proactive quality culture by training, coaching, and influencing cross-functional teams.
• Maintain the quality management system (QMS) in compliance with ISO/IATF 16949 requirements and customer specifications.
• Oversee day-to-day quality operations including incoming material inspection, in-process control, and final product audits.
• Ensure certifications such as IATF16949 and ISO9001 are maintained and aligned with customer expectations.
• Create and manage PPAP/ISIR processes and train teams to complete dimensional PPAP/ISIR forms properly.
• Perform PFMEA and assist in creating/finalizing PFMEA with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct capability studies and GR&R/MSA analyses; interpret results and provide actionable recommendations.
• Interpret customer requirements for testing and properly complete PPAP/ISIR forms.
• Understand injection molding and welding processes and develop work instructions and process flow diagrams.
