Job summary

Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance/QA Leader to direct the site’s food safety and quality management systems in Bakersfield.

You will build and coach the QA/QC and Food Safety teams, ensuring compliance with HACCP, GMP, FDA and customer standards while protecting consumer trust and brand integrity. You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and R&D to prevent issues, drive continuous improvement, and ensure end-to-end quality across

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA/QC and quality management experience in food manufacturing.
• Proven experience leading food safety programs, regulatory compliance, and third-party audits.
• Experience managing a QA/QC team in a high-volume production environment.
• Strong root cause analysis and preventive action capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Protect product safety and consumer trust.
• Lead audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, FDA and customer standards.
• Build a culture of quality across all functions.
