Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a engineering discipline as listed.
• Recent graduates and early-career engineers encouraged to apply.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on manufacturing interest.
• Ability to read engineering drawings or willingness to learn.
• Solid documentation and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support Quality Control activities across manufacturing, including dimensional, visual, and in-process inspection.
• Assist in interpreting drawings, specifications, tolerances, GD&T, and customer acceptance requirements.
• Help develop and maintain inspection plans, control plans, and work instructions.
• Participate in PPAP/APQP activities, first-article inspections, and process validation.
• Identify and disposition nonconforming material and manufacturing issues.
• Contribute to root cause analysis and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Collect and analyze manufacturing/quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Learn to use inspection/measurement equipment used in Taylor Defense processes.
• Collaborate with production to resolve quality issues while meeting requirements.
• Support process development for cutting, bending, machining, welding, assembly, finishing.
• Assist with workflow, material handling, workstation layout, tooling, and process capability studies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement focused on quality, safety, cost, and throughput.
• Assist with prototype builds, new product introductions, and design/process changes.
