Taylor Defense Products, LLC is seeking a skilled CNC Operator for press brakes and laser/water cutting in Louisville, MS. The candidate will read blueprints, set up machines, and ensure tight tolerances on armored steel components.

We value candidates with 2+ years in metal fabrication, proficiency with G-code and Fanuc/Haas controls, and basic robotics experience. Safety and quality take priority, with opportunities for growth in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• 2+ years CNC operation in metal fabrication (milling, turning, press brake, or water-jet/plasma).
• Proficiency with CNC press brakes and CNC laser/water cutters.
• Familiarity with G-code and control systems (Fanuc, Haas).
• Ability to read blueprints, GD&T symbols, and CAD drawings.
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, height gauges.
• Safety-conscious; able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand long periods.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate CNC press brakes per drawings and specs.
• Operate CNC laser/water cutting equipment to shape parts.
• Select tooling and programs to meet production requirements.
• Perform first article inspections and in-process checks for accuracy.
• Read blueprints and welding symbols; maintain traceability.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and adjust to maintain tolerances.
• Assist in programming robotic welding systems (preferred).
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to optimize processes.
• Follow safety procedures, PPE usage, lockout/tagout, and housekeeping.
