Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Quality/Process Improvement specialist in the Minneapolis area. The role focuses on documenting, mapping, and leading standards to improve consistency and efficiency across the organization.

You will collaborate with QE Managers and technicians to ensure adherence and capture vital knowledge. Expect 30% travel to customer sites and labs, with opportunities to lead knowledge capture initiatives and enhance digital tools usage such as SharePoint and Power

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a Technical Writing Degree or BS in Chemistry or related field.
• 4-5 years of experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance, Process/Continuous Improvement or related field.
• Technical writing skills.
• Experience working with Office 365 including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, MS Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse).
• Valid Driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex process improvement initiatives with a focus on documentation and mapping.
• Support 30% travel to customer sites and laboratories to assess conditions and project impacts.
• Develop onboarding and training resources via SharePoint and related tools.
• Create and maintain standardized workflows for process owners and publications.
• Organize training forums to enhance technical team skills.
• Perform audits and verify process adherence to instructions and changes.
