Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a Quality/Process Improvement professional to reduce complexity and capture critical knowledge across Coil operations. You will document workflows, lead onboarding resources, and promote SharePoint/Power Platform use.

Requirements include a Technical Writing Degree or BS in Chemistry, 4–5 years in QA/CI, and strong Office 365 skills. Travel up to 30% and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a Technical Writing Degree or BS in Chemistry or related field.
• 4-5 years of experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance or related field.
• Technical writing skills.
• Experience with Office 365 including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, MS Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse).

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement strategies to reduce complexity costs while improving product consistency including digital automated workflows.
• Lead process alignment and develop standards, procedures and processes across Coil operations.
• Capture critical knowledge and create onboarding/training resources via SharePoint.
• Organize workflows for updates and republication; publish consistently for divisional use.
• Facilitate instruction creation and conduct training forums to boost technical team skills.
• Document and preserve coil technical knowledge for easy access.
• Promote knowledge-sharing tools (SharePoint, PowerApps) to improve usability.
• Benchmark digital tools across units and implement best practices.
• Perform on-site follow-ups to develop procedures and ensure compliance.
• Work with QE managers to verify adherence to work instructions and conduct audits.
• Maintain KPI data and monthly dashboards; ensure safe working environment.
• Visit customers and labs to understand conditions and project impacts.
