Job summary

Modular Mission Critical — the MMC manufacturing campus for M.C. Dean — is seeking a Quality Control Engineer to oversee field inspections and implement quality plans for durable, reliable installations.

You will document processes, coordinate audits, and lead quality assurance efforts across projects at our VA area site. Ideal candidates have a 5+ year background in engineering or construction quality, pass a background check, and understand USACE/NAVFAC 3-Phase QC systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ Years of experience with a Bachelors Science Degree in Engineering or Construction Management, with Industrial/Systems Engineering preferred.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Working knowledge of USACE/NAVFAC 3-Phase Quality Control System.

Responsibilities

• Gather customer specific quality requirements and develop project quality plan.
• Create and maintain project quality plan and align MMC and external plans.
• Conduct Mutual Understanding Meetings with subcontractors.
• Maintain Quality Control Tracking Log with planned and actual schedule for the three phases.
• Create and maintain QC checklists for the project.
• Verify and status submittal approvals.
• Coordinate inspections and audits with 3rd party inspectors.
• Lead QA, compliance, audits, deliverables and process improvement.
• Prepare quality reports and project scorecards for leadership.
