Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Quality Engineer 2 to guide the QC program on complex installations. You will document, implement, and manage the project quality plan, oversee field inspections, and ensure compliance with safety policies across trades.

You will collaborate with clients and subcontractors, lead audits, and drive continuous improvement using ISO, CMMI, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, and PMBOK frameworks. A 2+ year engineering or construction background and a background check are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with a Bachelor's Science Degree in Engineering or Construction Management
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management required
• Industrial/Systems Engineering preferred
• Must pass a background check
• Working knowledge of USACE/NAVFAC 3-Phase Quality Control System

Responsibilities

• Document, Implement and Manage Quality Control Plan on the project
• Oversee field inspections to ensure work is in compliance with all safety policies and procedures
• Review customer quality requirements and align with External and MMC Quality Plans
• Coordinate with client and subcontractors for issue resolution, reporting and audits
• Lead audits to measure adherence to policies and procedures and drive improvements
• Prepare product and process quality reports and project scorecards for leadership
• Develop project quality documentation across ISO, CMMI, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, PMBOK and ITIL frameworks
• Identify controls and create policies for implementation of those controls
• Lead all quality assurance activities and audits for the project
• Facilitate design reviews and ensure ongoing client interface for improvements
