Job summary

M.C. Dean, located near Richmond, VA, is seeking a Quality Control 2 Engineer to lead the QC program on a durable and reliable installation project. You will oversee field inspections, ensure safety policies are followed, and document tailored QC processes across the value stream using established frameworks.

Responsibilities include creating QC plans, coordinating with subcontractors and clients, and driving corrective actions while maintaining logs and documentation for audits and reports.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management; Industrial/Systems Engineering preferred.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Working knowledge of USACE/NAVFAC 3-Phase Quality Control System.

Responsibilities

• Document, Implement and Manage Quality Control Plan on the project.
• Gather customer specific quality requirements and develop project quality plans.
• Create and maintain project specific QC checklists and quality plans.
• Maintain interface with client representatives for issue resolution, reporting and audits.
• Coordinate inspections and audits with 3rd party inspectors.
• Lead quality assurance activities, compliance, audits, and process improvement.
