Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Quality Control Engineer to implement and manage the project QC Plan, oversee field inspections, and ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.

You will gather customer quality requirements, develop project quality plans, coordinate with subcontractors and clients, conduct audits, and prepare quality reports to leadership.

A Bachelor's in engineering or construction management with 2+ years' experience and knowledge of USACE/NAVFAC 3-Phase QC is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management; Industrial/Systems Engineering preferred.
• Must pass a background check.
• Knowledge of USACE/NAVFAC 3-Phase Quality Control System.

Responsibilities

• Gather customer-specific quality requirements and review governing references to develop project QC plans.
• Create and maintain project-specific quality plans and ensure alignment with external MMC plans.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and conduct mutual understanding meetings.
• Maintain Quality Control Tracking Log (QCTL) with planned vs. actual QC phases.
• Coordinate inspections and audits with 3rd party inspectors; document processes per frameworks.
