Job summary
Humana is seeking an Associate Director, Quality Engineering to advance QA across a defined portfolio. You will lead QE managers, leads, engineers, and SDETs; drive automation, governance, release readiness, and continuous improvement, partnering with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Platform, DevOps, and enterprise quality teams to raise quality and production stability.
This leadership role emphasizes AI-enabled quality initiatives, metrics-driven delivery, and modernization of testing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years in software/quality engineering.
- 5+ years leadership managing QE teams.
- Experience across agile teams and portfolio delivery.
- Proven modernization with automation, tooling, and metrics.
- Strong communication and stakeholder skills; experience in matrix organizations.
Responsibilities
- Lead QE strategy and execution across portfolio.
- Develop managers and engineers; drive talent growth.
- Set portfolio quality goals, KPIs, governance.
- Embed quality across planning to deployment.
- Oversee test strategy for functional and non-functional testing.
- Drive AI-enabled QE capabilities and governance.
