Job summary

Andersen Corporation in the United States seeks a Quality Engineering leader to supervise manufacturing line quality support and drive continuous improvement across multiple functional areas.

You will guide a team of technicians across two shifts, collaborate with design, engineering, and supply chain, and apply DMAIC tools to ensure product conformance and process capability. This role emphasizes safety, training, and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or equivalent engineering experience.
• 3–5+ years of engineering experience preferred with mechanical aptitude.
• Formal leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of project planning and cross-functional teamwork.
• Lean manufacturing principles knowledge required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with quality systems and SPC.
• Proficiency with measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of quality technicians across two shifts (3 direct reports).
• Coach, train, support, and develop technicians.
• Interface with design, product engineering, and supply chain on manufacturability and process capability.
• Provide recommendations on design solutions related to new or current processes.
• Facilitate cross-functional kaizens and Process System Design events.
• Maintain daily plant quality metrics and compliance reporting.
• Support containment and CAPA activities for customer issues.
