Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is constructing an Advanced Casting Foundry (ACF) in Asheville, NC and seeks an experienced Cell Leader to assist with site startup and long-term production planning. You will lead a cross-functional team, onboard operators, and drive safety, quality, and cost improvements using CORE and SPS frameworks.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree) with 8+ years of related experience, plus proficiency in Excel and SAP. U.S.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years in related roles, or Advanced degree with 5+ years of related experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (MS Office) and related tools.
U.S. citizenship is required for access to program information.

Responsibilities

Be part of a cross-functional team standing up a greenfield foundry in Asheville.
Identify and onboard operators to support facility standup.
Lead employee engagement and continuous improvement efforts.
Drive sustained improvements in safety, quality, production, procurement, and cost via SPS/CORE systems.
Perform daily supervision, project management, and communication with support groups.
Establish work schedules aligned with customer requirements and resources.
Provide leadership and team-building through toolbox talks and clear direction.
Address issues with the workforce to meet cell goals and production needs.
Demonstrate 100% commitment to Quality, EHS, and SPS and drive customer satisfaction.
