Job summary

AV invites you to join its Summer Internship Program as a Quality Engineering Intern. This 12-week onsite opportunity lets you work on real projects within the aerospace and defense space, gaining hands-on experience alongside AV engineers.

You must be enrolled in a college program (Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in a technical field) with at least a 3.0 GPA and be able to work part-time (40 hours/week) during the internship. Relocation and housing reimbursement may be available.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship or eligible status required.
• Must be enrolled in a college/university pursuing a technical/engineering degree.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA (on 4.0 scale).
• Available to work part-time (40 hours/week) for 8-12 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Assist Quality Engineers with investigations into production and customer issues.
• Measure products using calipers and micrometers for dimensional analysis.
• Participate in problem-solving sessions and audits.
• Receive detailed instructions and work under supervision.
• Utilize software tools in the area of expertise.
• Support quality inspections and process audit programs.
