Job summary

AV offers a Summer Internship Program designed to provide students with an immersive, hands‑on experience within the aerospace and defense industry. Interns work on meaningful projects with AV team members, developing professional skills and practical experience in a full‑time work environment.

This 12‑week onsite internship targets motivated students enrolled in college or recent graduates, with a minimum 3.0 GPA and a preference for juniors or above.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship, permanent resident, or asylee/refugee status required.
• Currently enrolled in college/university for a technical/engineering major.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA; 8–12 weeks, part-time (40 hours/week) availability.

Responsibilities

• Assist Quality Engineers with investigations involving production and customer issues
• Use Calipers and Micrometers for dimensional analysis
• Participate in problem-solving sessions
• Work under close supervision with detailed instructions
• Engage with software tools in your area of expertise
• Participate in all aspects of Quality inspections, investigations, and audits
• Other duties as assigned
